The event was a smashing success with over 400 citizens who came out to support Victoria’s Youth at Risk. We managed to raise over $100,000 for the Youth Empowerment Society.

This amount of money will help fund programs for these teenagers (aged 13-19) such as Emergency shelter, Independent living support and our Detox program (which has a 75% success rate) for the coming year.

ABOUT THE YOUTH EMPOWERMENT SOCIETY

Victoria Youth Empowerment Society (YES) is a non-profit agency formed in 1992 that uniquely provides specialized programs designed to support and guide our at risk youth (ages 13-19) to make better lifestyle choices, find the resources they need to increase the likelihood
of future employment, housing or return to their families.
